Greg Malouf is one of Australia’s leading chefs.  An Australian of Lebanese descent, in 2012 Greg left Melbourne’s award-winning MoMo restaurant to take over the reins at the UK’s iconic Petersham Nurseries Café.  By the end of the year his Middle Eastern take on seasonal dining had earned the restaurant a Michelin star. This year Greg has once again taken on an exciting new challenge, moving to Dubai to take his innovative cuisine to the Middle East.  His new restaurant in Dubai’s financial district will open in late 2013.

West Beach Bathers Pavilion (Westie to the locals) was once one of three changerooms built in 1928; it’s a part of bayside Melbourne’s history.  It began as a hub for Melbourne’s colourful and burgeoning bathing population, but by the turn of the century had slipped into disrepair.  In 2009, after seven years of careful restoration, it was re-opened as a tearoom, bar and function venue.
